Depending on your medical needs, we can do everything all in one appointment. This eliminates the need to make multiple trips to our office, saving you time, so you can resume your day-to-day responsibilities. Here are some of the common in-house procedures we offer:

Ultrasound

This is a common, non-invasive procedure where we look at soft tissue in your body. Though ultrasounds are most associated with pregnancy, we use it for various cases such as diagnostic purposes. By performing an ultrasound, we can learn more about what may be causing you pain or an unexplained lump.

Our providers may recommend a thoracentesis, if we believe you may need fluid drained from your lungs. This quick procedure is performed while you are awake with the goal of testing the fluid we collect for any kind of infection or illness and to relieve pressure in your chest that might make it difficult to breathe.

One of our providers may need to do a paracentesis to drain excess fluid from your abdomen, called ascites. By getting rid of that extra fluid, we aim to relieve unpleasant symptoms like pressure in your stomach. We may also test that fluid to see what is causing the buildup.

If you accidentally injured yourself by tearing or cutting your skin, you may need a laceration repair depending on the severity. Our providers will clean the area, then examine the wound to see the best course of action and finally close it with either dermabond (medical glue), adhesive strips, stitches or staples.

This test is a simple way for us to diagnose any potential issues with your heart. The procedure doesn’t take long at all and is painless. As a result, we are able to learn if you’ve experienced a heart attack, heart failure or stroke. We’ll also learn if your heart rhythm is abnormal and if your pacemaker is working as it should.

This minimally invasive therapy is often used to treat skin conditions by using extreme cold to freeze abnormal (damaged or diseased) tissue. This in-house procedure can be used to treat warts, skin tags or some cancers.
